2007 Sydney Harbour Bridge

The Perth Australia Mind has just issued the 2007 Sydney Harbour Bridge 1 ounce silver proof coin.

This issue marks the 75th Anniversary of the Famous Bridge known throughout the world.

The coin’s reverse depicts the iconic steel arch bridge, also known locally as the coat hanger, which spans the sparkling waters of Port Jackson between Dawes Point and Milsons Point, with a celebratory burst of fireworks in color.

As well as the words SYDNEY HARBOUR BRIDGE, the 2007-dated coin also includes and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark and is struck from 1oz of 99.9% pure silver in proof quality.

Issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965, the coin depicts the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on its obverse and is accompanied by a Numbered Certificate of Authenticity, is housed in a black presentation case within an illustrated box shipper.
